Responsibilities

  • Perform supporting sales and marketing activity, such as conducting email blasts, follow up phone calls to trade show events, asking for referrals that generate leads for the Sales Executives in the field
  • Source, develop and/or close opportunities, typically at lower pricing tiers with shorter sales cycles over the phone or electronically
  • Assign, administer and report on sales leads using eCapital reporting tools (i.e. CRM)
  • Perform territory research that includes targeting industries, companies, competitors, and enter this information in the appropriate section within the eCapital CRM system
  • Update the eCapital online Sales Playbook with pertinent sales related process and procedures
  • Collaborate with Sales Executives on developing RFP’s, proposals, and customer quotations
  • Collaborate with Sales Executives and other teams within eCapital to develop supporting marketing collateral
  • Support the Director of Sales Operations and Marketing Director in fulfilling admin tasks, as needed
  • Understand internal product offerings to accurately assign leads
  • Proactively identify opportunities for sales process improvement

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business-related field
  • Over two years experience as an inside selling representative in a related industry OR Over two years of experience in professional services delivery (Auditing, Big 4, Technical)
  • Performed sales territory research or understands how to identify suspects, prospects, customers, and competitors
  • Competent in using computer-based technology for selling, e.g. conducting online demos or webinars, using a CRM system, and using social media, especially LinkedIn
  • Very skilled in using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Worked in small businesses or entrepreneurial environment
