Steve has a long proven record of providing excellent education experiences to clients around the world. He teaches a wide range of software applications and works with colleagues and clients to ensure that the curriculum delivered is the best fit for the client needs.
Steve is in his second year leading the training practice at eCapital Advisors. He schedules public and private classes, advises colleagues and clients concerning appropriate training paths for various types of user roles, and delivers almost all of our IBM product training at customer locations and in the eCapital training room. Steve also leads efforts to prepare for upcoming new product releases and is in charge of testing of virtual images and scripted lab exercises.
Prior to joining eCapital, Steve worked for 9 years in the IBM North American Education group and taught classes geared toward partners, customers and internal IBM resources. Steve has also served as a systems administrator in charge of corporate finance applications for a global company based in Dallas and worked for 5 years at PeopleSoft with financial transaction applications. He is well versed in relational transaction systems, corporate reporting systems and multi-dimensional planning applications.
When he is not teaching, Steve enjoys travel. He has visited all 50 states and over 50 countries. He runs several half marathons each winter and is a big Texas Rangers baseball fan in the summer. Steve has a degree in management and international business from Baylor University, and has a MBA in Management Information System from Dallas Baptist University.
